Message

In the tradition of some of our favorite albums of the past, THE ALBUM can be best perceived when seen all at once. The audio below contains, in one hour and change, the meaning behind the lyrics from the author’s point of view. (all lyrics by Michael Macpherson except where noted)

THIS RADIO INTERVIEW CONTAINS the voice of MICHAEL MACPHERSON  who is responsible for this page. Under Title 17, it is informational, and I am the one being interviewed. Therefore, no one has standing for a claim of copyright infringement over its placement here on this site.

Explanation of THE MESSAGE of THE ALBUM from a radio show.

Born In A Hue Of Blue
© Michael Macpherson 2015 – All Rights Reserved

Even on the first day,
I had determined my hue.
Nobody had to touch me,
I knew to cry the blues. My momma had the blues.
You know, my dad did, too.
One was a starving artist,
The other didn’t know what to do!

I have been through the wringer, it’s true,
Through every color that you can do.
You can’t begin to know what I’ve been through,
Guess I was born in a hue of blue.

Born in a hue of blue.

Breaking Day

If I could, I’d spend more time
Manifesting my own way.
But a system I did not design
Keeps causing me to pay.
It won’t pay its own way.
It bends my breaking day!

If you think anything can change,
The status quo’s gotta be rearranged.
Gotta start while I stand in place,
Gonna meet these issues face to face to face!

Now I know I’m gonna spend more time
Manifesting my own way.
Bust a system I did not design
By refusing to play,
I won’t pave evil’s way,
(I’ll) Create my breaking day!

Bifurcating reality,
Differential harmony,
Hear it roar at a planet’s pace,
Peace on Earth gonna be right in your face!

Sacrificed Self
© Michael Macpherson 2015 – All Rights Reserved

Woke up inside a tornado,
Winds blow, lies grow.
Found myself with only silver shoes;
Never red, now got the blues.

Journey began with a straw man.
Buy him back, if you can.
Best ignore the no-heart tin man.
Steroids ruined him.

All I’m after is a handful of real wealth,
Not this stuff that evildoers create with stealth,
Not the chemicals designed to ruin my health,
Just a bone to atone for a sacrificed self.

Then I found what was a brave man,
But only in his mind.
Follow gold in every way you can.
Truth there, is what you’ll find.

All I’m after is a handful of real wealth,
Not this stuff that evildoers create with stealth,
Not the chemicals designed to ruin my health,
Just a bone to atone for a sacrificed self.

Wake Up
© Michael Macpherson 2015 – All Rights Reserved

Does it seem like your dream of paradise
Just got julienned before your eyes?

Too much assault is not good for your heart.
In that drama, you should not take part.
Wake Up! It’s gonna be alright.

When it seems you can not find the floor,
Ask someone who’s been here long before.

Truth is hidden firmly from your sight
Zoom back and step up to see the light.
Watch but don’t you be consumed in flight
Wake Up! It’s gonna be alright!

Open Your Eyes
© Michael Macpherson 2015 – All Rights Reserved

This has been a great beginning.
I sure don’t want it all to end.

I don’t want to be that guy
That breaks the news that makes you cry

No other way that I have tried
Will ease the pain you feel inside
You asked the where, the what, the why,
That’s what happens when you open your eyes.

Curiosity killed the cat.
Candyland is gone just like that.

I don’t want to be that guy
That breaks the news that makes you cry

No other way that I have tried
Will ease the pain you feel inside
You asked the where, the what, the why,
That’s what happens when you open your eyes.

When you open your eyes (the truth comes in)
There can be no disguise (the good guys win)
Bust away the lies (now we can begin)
When you open your eyes.

When you open your eyes (the truth comes in)
There can be no disguise (the good guys win)
Bust away the lies (now we can begin)
When you open your eyes.

We sure had a great beginning.
Don’t let them win it in the end.

Much More
© Michael Macpherson 2015 – All Rights Reserved

Toes in the sand I gazed across the waves
A vision happened and my time stream was re-phased:
In Middle Ages as the king ruled by the sword,
The fear was massive and poverty gripped the Hoards,
But something drove the people’s spirit that wouldn’t die.

They wanted more, much more.

I shook my head trying to clear the timeline fog,
Opened my eyes only to see the smog
That billowed out toxic poison across the land,
As a select few people took advantage and
Turned on humanity ensuring they would die.

They wanted more, much more.

Hoping that this would not be our final fate,
A focused mind to the future I did concentrate,
And what I saw was people sharing all they had,
A love that banished the need to seek out the bad.
The people found without fear you don’t have to die.

There’s much more, much more.

What Would You Do?
© Michael Macpherson 2015 – All Rights Reserved

A man and his wife at night, you see,
Sleeping oh, so peacefully,
When there was a flash, and then a bang.
The door blew in, but no doorbell rang,

He planned to defend his family,
But never thought that this could be,
No time to think, just time to do.
Did he choose right? What would you do?

The day before right in the news,
He read about a string of abuse.
The wrong address, the boots came in
More innocent lives came to an end.

Now barrels flashing in the night,
He fought the foe with all his might.
It will be in the morning news,
Did he choose right? What would you do?

What would you do?

Don’t Come For My Gun
© Michael Macpherson 2015 – All Rights Reserved

I’ve seen dumb, and seen dumber and they either wear an R or a D.
Gave up, on cable ‘cause you know there ain’t nothin’ to see.
Real people, with cameras have become the only truth on TV
It’s a shame, ‘cause who’s to blame is the biggest criminality.

Contracts, were made to protect what the Creator gave
Wars fought, sides bought by those who buy and sell the slave
Lies told, face-bold to the ones to be convinced they’re brave
Once more, that few selects the kids to fill the graves.

Well, I learned history from grandpa.
There’s one thing that he knew for sure.
Don’t piss-off a grizzly bear that’s sleepin’.
And he said, “Don’t come for my gun, and I won’t shoot ya.”

Common sense, with my rifle means to give it the respect that it needs.
Gun control, with my pistol means I hit the target and the clip feeds.
My rights, from my Creator are a no conditions guarantee,
No need, to push the limit and find out why that’s America’s Creed.

I made, that promise to the Constitution and what it means.
I pledged, an oath to allow for what my grandkid will dream.
If I, don’t have tomorrow, I know they’ll find my Browning is clean.
Don’t come for my gun if you think that I ain’t all that I seem.

Well, I learned history from grandpa.
There’s one thing that he knew for sure.
Don’t piss-off a grizzly bear that’s sleepin’.
And he said, “Don’t come for my gun…”

Screwed up our money
Dumbed down our kids
there’s MK-ULTRA
AIDS and SIDS
Chemtrail clouds
GMO foods
You call that health CARE?
Can’t say “gun”?!

It’s your rights, that I fight for, together we will not have to run.
Your house, your spouse, protect against wherever they’re from.
Foreign, and domestic are the two types of enemy scum.
In short, I won’t shoot ya if you don’t come for my gun.

Well, I learned history from grandpa.
There’s one thing that he knew for sure.
Don’t piss-off a grizzly bear that’s sleepin’.
And he said, “Don’t come for my gun, and I won’t have t’ do ya in.”

Enough Is Enough

A wise man once said, “Don’t waste time.”
Get to the message, begin your rhyme.
Stand your ground, your moral rules.
Ignore the drivel from the public tools.

Learn the truth, it’s all been lies.
The revelation is before your eyes!

And I’m wonderin’ if it’s time to call the bluff.
Start’ to thinking that the road looks rough.
I’m analyzing and things look tough.
Got to decide when enough is enough.

I hear the stories, of an older time
And read the memoirs of a country’s prime.
Is it dead?

And I’m wonderin’ if it’s time to call the bluff.
Start’ to thinking that the road looks rough.
I’m analyzing and things look tough.
Still got to decide when enough is enough.

I’m a Wond’rin’ if it’s time to call the bluff.
Started to thinking that the road looks rough.
I’m Analyzing, and things look tough.
Got to decide when enough is enough.

New American Anthem
© Michael Macpherson 2015 – All Rights Reserved

YEAH! While Mom and Dad were asleep
A group of men in occult (way deep)
Stole their wealth while the media swayed,
Lulled to sleep by the mantra “USA!, USA!”

Buildings falling, planes disappearing,
Unknowns growing and liberties yielding.
We’ve pulled the curtain back and seen who’s who,
Once again it’s the familiar few.

Masses aren’t getting fooled it’s true
When a false flag comes in view.
The guilty party isn’t someone new.
We the People start to sing a new American Anthem.

Terrorism is the bogey man.
While they yell it as loud as they can,
Everybody’s seeing through the plan
Now, we’ve begun to sing a new American Anthem.

Patiently waiting for the crippling blow,
Firmly expecting invading UFOs.

But the love of the people, and their innate balance with nature
Can defeat 3,500 years of bullying and oppression.
While 85 people have the same wealth as 3.5 billion combined,
The power of 3.5 billion minds in focus can change all that.
Listen now, as the cries of millions in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia ring out,
Their homes destroyed, their infrastructure decimated,
And all this for Corporate energy profit?
The technology exists for each to create the energy we need at home.

YEAH!

Last Man Standing
by Kevin W. Smith and Michael Macpherson

He wanders through the nighttime,
The darkness and the mire.
He stumbles through the void,
And searches for the fire.

The light isn’t out there
And the tunnel’s disappeared.
His ears hear only silence,
As the silence softly jeers.

Trapped between what was and isn’t
In a place where time don’t even visit.
No logic to before or later,
As to himself, he asks, “Who is it?”

He’s the last man standing.
He proved that he could do it.
Calamities, catastrophes,
He still got through it.

What mattered doesn’t matter,
Energy’s in the wind.
The speed of thought is greater,
And it took away all his friends.

There is nothing all around his
Nothing self to see.
It really doesn’t matter when,
All that is, is energy.

Trapped between what was and isn’t
In a place where time don’t even visit.
No logic to before or later,
As to himself, he asks, “Who is it?”

He’s the last man standing.
He proved that he could do it.
Calamities, catastrophes,
He still got through it.
